Secrets is transforming the lives
and marriages of women like you.
Lindsey’s Story
Inner Turmoil
As the product of abuse, addiction, and a broken home, I was overwhelmed and confused in my new marriage. I knew all the wifely ideals—I grew up in church. But I battled emotional ups and downs, was often dissatisfied, and couldn’t really connect with my husband. I wished someone could tell me if my struggles were normal and how to handle them. I remember journaling a flood of frustrations like: What’s wrong with me? Why do I feel this way? Lord, I’m so confused! What is healthy and what is not? Who can I trust even to ask?
Answered Prayer
From the first page of Secrets, I was amazed at Kerry’s honesty and insight. She became the friend I prayed for, and guided me through the issues wives face. But the real power in this book is that it’s based on the Bible. As I applied God’s truth to my heart, I drew closer to Him and saw Him work in my marriage.
Being Transformed
After finishing Secrets, I happened to read my old journal. Then it hit me—I haven’t felt those emotions in months! There is so much peace in my heart and in my marriage! I no longer blame my past, my husband, and my circumstances. Instead I focus on what I can change (me!), and I let God do the rest. Now my husband and I are closer and more honest with each other than we’ve ever been. Of course I still encounter struggles, but I have the secrets to navigate through them. I am so thankful for this book—Secrets has changed the destiny of my life and marriage!
